About Travis Hansberger

A Certified Financial Planner (CFP) based in Wayzata, Minnesota, Travis Hansberger has served as the president of the independent firm Millstone Wealth Management since 2020. In this position, he creates customized investment portfolios for clients (specifically tax-sensitive investments) and manages assets valued at more than $125 million. Travis Hansberger is also the creator of the company’s copyrighted, tax-sensitive software program.

Actively involved with Groves Academy, a nonprofit educational organization, Mr. Hansberger has been a member of the finance board for five years and a full board member for an additional two years.

The Early Years

Before joining Millstone Wealth Management, Travis Hansberger spent 13 years as a wealth advisor with Thrivent Financial, a nonprofit financial services organization that serves more than 2 million members. A graduate of Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota, Mr. Hansberger holds a bachelor of science in aviation management. He worked as a pilot with several airlines before attending Kansas State University and earning his designation as a CFP.
